Sustainable fashion is about applying progressive thought and innovative action for environmental, social and ethical risk mitigation and maximum positive global social, environmental and economic effect.

It is fashion that considers the planet as one functioning whole and knows that what one does in one place impacts another and ultimately the ecosystem we live in. It is an industry that exists with long term strategy. This means it considers processes from manufacturing and fabric selection, to ethical working conditions for the people who produce it to the agricultural effects of farming to produce the fabric.

We don’t believe we have to tick all the boxes to be considered sustainable, in fact there is no such thing as perfect here, we know its just not possible. We do however encourage a strong commitment from the industry to questioning their effect and continuous improvement to the constant pursuit of sustainability as applied to their business in social, environmental and economic terms.
